Olivia Woosnam’s career began in 2005 as an international environmental officer at the United Nations Environment Program in Europe, working on international environmental policy and the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2008, she refocused her career to specialize in koala habitat management and conservation. In 2013, she and her husband and collaborator, Alex Dudkowski, created OWAD Environment—stemming from a desire to increase the scientific rigor of koala studies. Today they work with Taz and Missy, two English Springer Spaniels trained to work as professional detection dogs.
