Photographing P-22

The mission was to photograph mountain lion P-22 walking in front of the famed Hollywood sign, and National Geographic photographer Steve Winter had teamed up with biologist Jeff Sikitch to make it happen.
After 15 long months of trial and error, Steve got the epic shot—and the cougar named P-22 went A-Lister!
